Catalogue of the exhibition Piece by Piece, held in Shanghai from 28 March to 28 June 2015 at the Power Station of Art. The catalogue contains materials from the exhibition, which not only explored the relationship between material, structure, atmosphere and inhabitants, but also demonstrated the evolution of Renzo Piano’s design journey through some of the founding themes of the firm’s production: the lightness of construction, the relationship with the city, places for culture and spaces for music.
